The site is located on Zhongshan North Road in Taipei City, near Liou Tiau Tong and Chi Tiau Tong. The lot spans approximately 800 ping, within a commercial zone with an FAR of 360%.

The building is set back to its maximum allowable distance to create more urban buffer space and reduce pressure on neighboring structures. The podium adopts horizontal fair-faced concrete slabs that are clean and lightweight, defining a human-scaled arcade. Above the arcade, square skylights of various sizes bring in natural light to create a pleasant spatial atmosphere.

Residential Layout: The residential tower comprises 23 above-ground floors and 6 basement levels, totaling 190 units. Floors 3 to 10 are laid out in 4 units per floor; floors 11 to 20 have 3 units per floor; and floors 21 to 23 feature 2 units per floor. Each unit enjoys dual-sided daylighting, and the elevator lobbies are naturally ventilated and illuminated, maximizing views along Zhongshan North Road.

The landscape design not only extends the refined aesthetic of the architecture but also responds to the mission of urban renewal—bringing greenery back to both the city’s skyline and its ground plane, creating an elegant yet vibrant green living environment.

Inspired by “Tiau Tong culture”, the ground-level landscape draws from elements of Japanese kare-sansui, minimalist paving, and curated greenery to form a serene and welcoming arrival space. Through layered planting arrangements and thoughtful spatial layout, the design enhances visual appeal while offering residents a daily ritual upon returning home. Flowing water features paired with fine stone paving give tangible form to the vision of an urban oasis.

The rooftop garden acts as a green threshold between public and private realms, combining ecological stepping stones, social gathering spaces, and wellness-focused living. Birdsong and seasonal flora weave together an eco-friendly sky garden that brings renewed vitality to the urban fabric. Flexible seating and open layouts allow residents to take in panoramic views of the city skyline, unwind in peaceful solitude, or share joyful outdoor moments with friends and family.
