Located opposite the Tsann Kuen Building in Neihu and adjacent to the Keelung River, the site is surrounded by warehouse facilities, characterized by heavy traffic and a noisy environment.

The design leverages its corner location by introducing a twisted glass cube as an urban landmark. Emphasis is placed on improving microclimate quality and creating a friendly urban space. The building front is set back to form a small plaza, planted with trees and integrated with a water feature. The lower two floors house dining and exhibition areas, while the upper five floors are dedicated to offices. A double-height atrium on the fourth floor connects to a second-floor terrace, activating the building’s interior. Balconies on each level protrude into the atrium space, accentuating the building’s corner identity. A rooftop sky garden offers panoramic views of the Taipei skyline.

The project explores the constraints and opportunities of a peripheral urban site, presenting a new approach to supporting the food service industry while enhancing the Keelung Riverbank and beautifying the city of Taipei.
