Located in Nanjing’s Hexi New Town, this multifunctional and integrated campus serves as the main site for a “one school, three campuses” model. It incorporates both the Intangible Cultural Heritage Academy and the Open University, with facilities designed to be accessible to the wider community. The campus covers approximately 800 mu and accommodates up to 11,000 students.

The spatial layout replaces traditional boundary walls with an urban plaza, creating an open campus environment. The teaching zone sits at the center, composed of towers, academic buildings, and a sports field. Student dormitories are located on the north side, adjacent to Taiqing Road and a neighborhood center. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Academy buildings are arranged in a traditional courtyard style—introverted yet open. The Lianhua River runs through the campus, with a green corridor connecting the various zones.

Architecturally, the campus features a modern minimalist style infused with traditional elements. Facades are clad in precast concrete fiber panels, emphasizing the texture of concrete. Modular proportions, rhythmic compositions, aluminum paneling, and detailed drip-edge elements contribute to the refined design language. The design draws from the heritage of intangible cultural traditions while shaping a contemporary educational environment. It emphasizes openness and shared space, integrating with the urban fabric while promoting sustainability to create a green campus.
